Education
Fellowship Program
The Convergence Fellows Program is recruiting postdocs to bring together the brightest minds in cancer biology, clinical oncology, engineering, and computational biology to make discoveries and bring forward the next generation of cancer research. The Institute consists of a transdisciplinary team of faculty and co-mentored trainees across career stages.
Practical Genomics
The Practical Genomics Workshop runs every Fall for two weeks, with two full days of instruction each week.
The workshop is open to biologists of all experience levels, from graduate students to experienced researchers, who want to learn about the latest genomic technologies and how to use them to answer biological questions.
Convergence Symposium
The 2024 Convergence Symposium on Genomics and Bioinformatics is held yearly.
The Convergence Symposium includes two keynote addresses, including The Schnabl Distinguished Lectureship, talks by Hopkins junior faculty and postdocs, and a poster session.
CRC Convergence Program
This program provides ready access to colorectal cancer data, biological and bioinformatics experts, and training in the latest computational methods. A CoFest! provides hands-on experience with real-world colorectal cancer datasets from state-of-the-art genomics technologies.
